Chilling TV appearance resurfaces as man is charged with ex’s murder 15 years later

Dale Smith Jr. has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the 2011 disappearance of his ex-fiancée Michelle Parker.
Parker vanished on November 17, 2011, hours after an episode of The People's Court aired showing the former couple disputing an engagement ring .
Orlando police credited advances in digital forensics and a thorough reexamination of evidence for breaking open the long-unsolved case.
Smith was the last person to see Parker alive and remained the prime suspect for years, though her body has not been found.
State prosecutors noted that the second-degree murder charge against Smith could be upgraded to first-degree murder as the case progresses.
