Mom-daughter cabin crew duo's heartwarming video on IndiGo flight, wins hearts

On the occasion of Mother's Day we saw several videos where children have shared the priceless moments with their mothers. From watching videos of children expressing their love for their moms to reading stories where they are showering them with appreciation, the second Sunday of May seems to be the best day of the year.

One such video was shared by the flight carrier IndiGo on its Twitter handle. In the video we see a daughter making an announcement for her mother, who later gets emotional.

The daughter introduced herself as Nabira Samshi and then introduced her mom to others. Both mom and daughter were in the same flight wearing their uniform.

Nabira said this is the first time she saw her mother onboard in uniform and she has been working as a cabin crew for six years.

Saying her mother is her inspiration, Nabira said,"I hope I make her proud today." Towards the end of the video we see the mother crying as her daughter makes this announcement.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the one who’s always had my back, on the ground and in the air,” IndiGo captioned the emotional video.

"Heart touching. Thanks to the Indigo Management to give mother and daughter to fly on same flight on the occasion of Mother's Day," one Twitter user wrote. "That makes a difference! Good gesture by Indigo roster dept for putting Mom n Daughter on the same flight on Mom's Day," wrote another.

Mother's Day was celebrated at many places on May 14. The tradition which had started in the early 1900s is observed to pay tribute to motherhood.
