Molly-Mae Hague details 'tricky time' with Tommy Fury amid pregnancy that left her 'crying five times a day'

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about discovering she was pregnant during a 'tricky time' with Tommy Fury. The former Love Island star and her beau shared the happy news last month that they're expecting their first child together.

They were quickly flooded with love and support as their millions of followers watched their adorable announcement video. The black and white video merged a sweet moment from their past before they basked in their pregnancy news while looking ahead to their future as a family of three.

The clip showed an emotional Molly-Mae giving a speech to her man during the final days on the ITV2 dating show in 2019. "I can't wait for the adventures that we haven't even dreamed of yet," the mum-to-be was seen saying through tears to Tommy before the video went on to show a love-struck Tommy planting a kiss on his girlfriend's blossoming baby bump.

She has since been sharing photos of herself and her growing bump and offering small insights into her pregnancy journey on Instagram. However, Molly-Mae has now sat down and done a big video on YouTube after being flooded with questions from her followers about the news of her impending arrival.

She told her viewers she was 21 weeks pregnant as of when the vlog was filmed and said people could 'definitely work out around the time' her baby is due. The mum-to-be also opened up about her pregnancy so far, sharing how her main symptom has been hunger and that she hasn't been able to stop herself from eating everything that she craves.

But while her social media photos showed the pair looking happier than ever, Molly-Mae had admitted that not everything we perfect and that she and Tommy, 23, faced a 'tricky time', including when boxer Tommy, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, being banned from entering the US earlier this year meaning his highly-anticipated fight against Jake Paul had to be cancelled.

Molly-Mae, 23, explained: 'We were going through a really tricky time with Tommy and his work and fights happening, then not happening, and situations being completely out of our control. It was in the most emotionally hardest period of my life, whilst trying to also support Tommy, and it was just a very crazy few months."

The Pretty Little Thing creative director went on to admit: "I literally just can’t explain how the shock literally overtook my body for the first month, 100%. I just felt like every single day I was living an out-of-body experience, my emotions were something I’d never experienced before.'

"I cried maybe five times a day for no reason. Just in tears over everything. Every time we talk about it, it feels like we’re talking about a situation that’s not our own because it was a complete shock, I can’t lie."

And despite the couple being "beyond happy" about becoming parents and welcoming their first child, Molly-Mae shared her hope that her honesty about the start of her pregnancy will bring comfort to other first-time mums. "Don’t get me wrong, it was a different experience at the start to how I pictured and that’s the honest to God truth, I don’t hear that many people say that," she said.

"You probably don’t get many girls come online and say yeah, it was different, it wasn’t magical and I didn’t cry when I found out I was that shocked that I physically couldn’t feel emotion. I hope that gives someone comfort because it really comforted me."
