Mollie King has announced the sad news of her dad's death just days after she welcomed her first baby.
The former The Saturdays singer said her family had been left "heartbroken beyond words" after her dad dies just months after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He had received the devastating just months earlier in August.
Taking to Instagram, Mollie shared a number of sweet pictures with her dad and revealed that he had died last week. She wrote: "Heartbroken beyond words. In August, my family’s world was shattered when my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

"Last week, we had to face the day we hoped would never come and say goodbye. Dad, we love you with all our hearts and we will miss you every single day. You have been our hero and it’s impossible to think of our lives without you.
"You have always been there for us with every step we’ve taken and you even held on a few extra days to meet baby Annabella. You gave us your everything. You will be in our hearts and our memories every single day."
Among those paying tribute included her former Strictly co-star Karen Hauer, reports the Mirror, who wrote: "Oh Mollie, so sorry for your loss. Sending love." While Zoe Ball commented: "mollie i'm so sorry. sending you so much love."
Jordan North wrote: "Oh Molly, I’m am so sorry to hear this news. Thinking of you and sending all my love to you, and all your family." "So sorry, just heartbreaking for you Mollie. Sending so much love & a huge hug," Charlotte Hawkins commented.
The news comes just days after the BBC Radio 1 presenter revealed that she had given birth to her first baby with fiancé Stuart Broad. Taking to Instagram, she posted two photos of the proud new parents with their adorable daughter as they enjoyed a day out.
She captioned the post: "Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We have never been so in love," with a red heart emoji.
