Mo Salah is edging towards a new Liverpool deal after choosing to compromising on his contract demands.
The Egyptian will enter the final 12 months of his deal this summer and there were fears that he could leave Anfield after five prolific seasons. Salah was initially seeking a massive pay rise that would've seen him draw level with Cristiano Ronaldo - the Premier League's highest earner.
But now Salah, who has acknowledged the affection shown to him at Liverpool following his international failures, is ready to meet the club halfway regarding his salary demands. The 29-year-old has twice fallen short with Egypt in recent months - losing the AFCON final and missing out on a place at the World Cup after a play-off defeat.
