After the 2022/23 Premier League campaign came to an end last weekend, you'd expect most players to already be off on holiday with their families and making the most of the close-season.
As a result, the summer months are often littered with elite football stars posting social media updates from all four corners of the globe as they enjoy the sun, before reporting back for pre-season in July.
But not Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian's club season might have only finished four days ago, but the 30-year-old is still working hard after posting a picture of himself sitting on an exercise ball at the gym on his Instagram story.

The Liverpool forward hasn't posted directly on social media since releasing a 'devastating' statement bemoaning the Reds' failure to qualify for the Champions League on May 25. But this was the perfect way to return.
"I’m totally devastated," he wrote. "There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed.
"We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down."
Determined to return to the Champions League in 2024/25, it would appear Salah, who recorded yet another 30-goal season with Liverpool in 2022/23, has already gotten to work to ensure the Reds don't miss out again.
