Mohamed Salah says he is "proud" at drawing level with Robbie Fowler as Liverpool's sixth all-time top goalscorer - but admits he is keen to hunt down Steven Gerrard and Billy Liddell.
Salah fired in his 183rd goal for the Reds during Saturday's 3-2 Premier League victory over Nottingham Forest at Anfield, which saw him move level with Toxteth-born Fowler. The Egyptian's latest remarkable feat of his Anfield career comes despite having played 71 times less than the player named by fans as 'God', who turned out 369 times across two separate spells for Liverpool.
The triumph over relegation-threatened Forest came days after Salah's two-goal haul at Elland Road in the 6-1 win over Leeds United saw him cement his name as the highest-scoring left-footer in Premier League history, and weeks after his brace in the 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United saw him become the Reds' all-time leading Premier League goalscorer. Both records had been snatched from Fowler.

Speaking of his achievement to beIN Sports after Saturday's game at Anfield, Salah reiterated his desire to continue climbing Liverpool's all-time goalscoring charts and etch his name into the club's record books.
"The sixth top scorer for Liverpool? It’s good to achieve this number in less than six years," said Salah. "Fowler is a legend for the club, so I’m proud to be equal with him after six seasons. I hope to score more goals and break more numbers."
Salah's winner against Forest, which followed a swift second-half brace from Diogo Jota, ensured Jurgen Klopp's side claimed back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since early March. It also kept their faint chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League alive.
"In the first 15 or 20 minutes, we faced difficulty in the game," added Salah. "Thank God, we were able to win and get a positive result... Our focus wasn’t on who scores, the important thing is the good result.
"For the teams fighting to avoid relegation, these are life-or-death games and all games are difficult."
Gerrard sits fifth on Liverpool's all-time top goalscorer list with 186 - just three more than Salah and Fowler. Then comes Liddell (228), Gordon Hodgson (241), Roger Hunt (285) and Ian Rush (346).
