Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was critical of his team's performance in the 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan on Tuesday night.
Despite suffering their first loss this year, the Reds progressed to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after winning the two-legged tie 2-1 on aggregate following a first-leg 2-0 victory.
The second leg at Anfield was a cagey affair with Jurgen Klopp's side unable to break down Inter's defence, although Joel Matip did hit the bar with a header in the first half before Salah hit the post in the second.
Lautaro Martinez then opened the scoring but Alexis Sanchez's red card moments later all but ended any hope of a comeback for Inter.

And Salah spurned a glorious chance to put the game to bed when he struck the post again.
Liverpool still progressed but speaking after the final whistle the Egyptian said they may have been 'a little bit overconfident'.
"We need to start better from the beginning, we need to push a little bit more, maybe in the back of our mind we felt we were a little bit overconfident, but it’s a good game for us to take and learn from," Salah told BT Sport.
"It’s always important to win a game, but like tonight we hit the post twice, had a lot of chances, but that can happen in football and the good thing is that we qualified."

However, Salah did add that the most important thing was that Liverpool had qualified for the last eight.
"I hit the post a couple of times," added Salah. "Maybe next game I’ll score three but the most important thing is that the team performed and we’re through into the next round."
Salah praised Inter for their performance over both legs and admitted that once the Italian giants were reduced to 10 men, it became easier to hold onto the ball.
He said: "They’re a tough team, they were very good in the first leg, too. We were able to hold the ball up a bit more in the second half and were helped by the red card but we’re through to the next round so it’s all good."
