Celtic face competition from two major Turkish sides in their bid to land Mohamed 'Afsha' Magdy.
It was claimed last week that Ange Postecoglou and his Scottish champions had made 'initial contact' as they plan ahead of the January transfer window opening in a matter of weeks. The Hoops have already secured Canada World Cup star Alistair Johnston and highly-regarded J-League defender Yuki Kobayashi.
Speaking to Football Scotland his representative Maher Nawfal said: “There has been interest from Celtic, but we will take time to consider what is best for Afsha before a decision is made.” Now another rep believed to be close to the player has name dropped two other interested parties and it comes from Besitkas and Galatasaray in Turkey.

Abdelrahman Ismail told Egyptian radio: "Besiktas, Galatasaray and Celtic are competing to sign Mohamed Magdy Afsha."
The Scottish Express also report that cash-rich Al Ittihad want to snap up the star.
The Egyptian, 26, is currently on the books at Al-Ahly and the playmaker would provide another attacking option for Celtic as they bid to retain the Scottish Premiership crown they won from Rangers last season.
They currently hold a nine point advantage at the top of the table with new Rangers boss Michael Beale looking to make up ground on the Hoops when the domestic action returns next week after he was hired to replaced the axed Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Postecoglou and Co resume with an away trip to Aberdeen next Saturday while Rangers face Hibs at Ibrox two days earlier.
