Mo Gilligan is odds-on favourite to replace David Walliams on Britain's Got Talent.
The Little Britain star, 51 has reportedly quit the ITV show after a recording of him making vile comments about the contestants was leaked.
David racked up 10 years on the primetime talent programme, but now it looks as if Masked Dancer judge Mo, 34, may be taking his place.
A list of odds compiled by OLBG suggest the stand-up comedian is favourite, with odds of 5/2.
With his experience on the judging panel of ITV's Masked Dancer, Mo would be a good fit for the BGT show, where he would join Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
But Mo isn't the only big name in the running for the BGT gig.
Comedian Iain Stirling has odds of 4/1 while Masked Dancer host Joel Dommett sits at 9/2.
Controversial comic Joe Lycett is also in the running with odds of 5/1 while Britain's Got More Talent presenter Stephen Mulhern has a six per cent chance of fronting the show with odds of 14/1.
A BGT spokesperson said: "The judging panel for Britain's Got Talent 2023 will be announced in due course."
David was on the Britain's Got Talent judging for 10 years sitting alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
However, the father-of-one was forced to apologise after comments he made about contestants on the ITV show were leaked.
A transcript from the ITV show revealed David had made crude references about one woman and called a pensioner a 'c***' during filming for Britain's Got Talent back in 2020.
The comedian- who has been a judge on BGT since 2012 - apologised for making 'disrespectful comments', which were made during breaks for filming the show.
David said in a statement: "I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain's Got Talent in 2020.
"These were private conversations and - like most conversations with friends - were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry."
Following the publication of David's leaked comments, Simon failed to confirm if the comedian would be returning for the next series of the hit talent show.
Ask me in a few weeks," he responded when quizzed on the matter.
Stressing no judge was bigger than the show itself, he told the Daily Star : "For me the most important thing is the talent. It’s always about that. If you don’t have great talent, you don’t have a show. That’s all I care about."
