Missing Scots pensioner last seen at A&E vanishes overnight

Cops have launched a desperate search for a pensioner who last seen leaving Scots hospital.

William McLean was last seen around 10am on Saturday, March 26, at A&E in Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.

Police are urging anyone with information on the 75-year-old's whereabouts to come forward.

They say there is 'increasing concern' for the pensioner's safety.

He is described as 6ft, has a stocky build, short receding hair, blue jeans and a navy long sleeve jumper. He may be also have a holdall.

William is from the Renton area and police believe he may try and make his way back there by foot or public transport.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police are increasingly concerned for William's safety and anyone with any information of his whereabouts, is urged to contact 101 quoting incident number 1285 of 26th March 2022."
