Missing Paisley woman sparks public appeal amid increasing concerns for her welfare

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a woman missing from Paisley.

Harshita Gottipatti, who may also go by the name of Harshita Atei, was last seen about 9:45am in the Millarston area on Tuesday (February 22).

The 38-year-old is described as Indian ethnicity, 5 foot 8 inches, medium build, with long black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a knee-length brown woollen coat, grey tracksuit bottoms, blue trainers and black/white headphones.

Police Constable Gardner from Paisley Police Station said: "We are becoming concerned for the whereabouts of Harshita and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare, as this is completely out of character.

"Anyone who may have seen Harshita or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3386 of 22/02//2022."
