Minister heads to US for talks as tariff hike looms

Trade Minister Don Farrell will return to the US to press the case for the removal of American tariffs, after President Donald Trump instituted a fresh round of the economic measures.

Mr Trump has flagged a lift in global tariffs to 15 per cent, after the country's Supreme Court found existing measures for a 10 per cent tariff unlawful.
