A millionaire football club owner has announced that he plans to take 500 supporters on holiday this summer.
Acun Ilicali, who owns Hull City, has revealed he will take the large group of fans to Turkey this summer in what is a first for a football club on these shores.
Ilicali, the flamboyant owner of the Tigers, said to supporters that a select group and their families will be sent on an all expenses paid, all inclusive trip to a five-star resort in Antalya.
Ilicali will be hosting the event himself, Hull Live reports.
The millionaire boss has recently taken over at the football club, which currently sits 20th in the Championship.
Full details of the trip are understood to be confirmed in the coming days, but fans will be drawn from a lottery, good causes, charities and various other group.
Ilicali, who took over the football club from the Allam family in January, also revealed that major Turkish beer brand Efes are in discussions over a sponsorship deal.
He is looking to bring in three major brands to help promote the football club across Europe.
The Turkish star was speaking at a supporters event at the MKM Stadium where Nick Barmby also spoke publicly for the first time since leaving the club under the Allam family.
