Miley Cyrus is not expected to tour again in the near future after the singer admitted that she "can't", with her also touching on how she feels "no connection" when singing to large crowds.
The Hannah Montana star, 30, decided in 2014 that she didn't want to tour after her Bangerz world tour.
She has announced that she "can't" and won't be embarking on any new headline tours in the near future, with her making the decision almost a decade ago.
Speaking to British Vogue for her cover interview, Miley addressed touring when she admitted that "it's been a minute".
"After the last [headline arena] show I did [in 2014], I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can't," she told the magazine.
Miley added: "Not only 'can't' because can't is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else's pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?"
Elsewhere in the chat, Miley spoke about her preferences when performing, with the star offering an insight into the kinds of crowds she prefers.
She explained that "singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn't really the thing that I love", with her preferring small, intimate crowds - like when she sings for friends.
Despite having well over 200 million followers on Instagram, Miley also spoke of how she feels "no connection" or "safety" when putting on a show to the masses.
"It's also not natural. It's so isolating because if you're in front of 100,000 people then you are alone," she candidly said while chatting to the magazine.
But although Miley has spoken about how she has no desire to tour, she has put on various live shows in recent years.
In March 2022 she performed at Lollapalooza Brasil 2022, and more recently on New Year's Eve she put on a live show and even duetted with Dolly Parton.
This comes almost one month after Miley's mum Tish announced that she had got engaged to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.
Eight months after Tish's ex and Miley's father Billy Ray popped the question to fellow musician Firerose, Tish announced her happy news on Instagram.
Miley's mum and Dominic's engagement follows on from the pair going public with their romance last summer.
The pair announced their relationship last July, which came just three months after Tish and Billy Ray got divorced.
