Five new signings and around £120m spent represent a very active approach from Arsenal so far this summer, but Mikel Arteta has suggested that attention will need to turn towards sales before continuing his shopping spree.
The Spaniard's squad is undoubtedly stronger thanks to the arrivals of Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko, in particular, but it's also much bigger and a lack of movement with departures has left the club little choice but to focus on the futures of its own players for the time being.
Speaking after Arsenal's 3-1 win over Orlando City on Wednesday, Arteta was asked if he expects there to be any more incomings between now and the end of the window before reiterating the need to reduce numbers in his response.
