After signing Fabio Vieira already this summer, Mikel Arteta is reported to have set his sights on another winger to join his Arsenal squad, with Villareal youngster Yeremy Pino the subject to interest from the Gunners.
It is thought that Edu and Arteta will rival Liverpool for the £67 million rated 19-year-old who has already made his Spain debut, appearing four times for La Roja and starting in the 2021 Europa league final win against Manchester United. He was also an important figure for the Yellow Submarine as they reached the Champions League semi-finals last season.
He has made a total of 55 league appearances for his club, scoring nine goals after breaking through into the first team at the start of the 2020/21 season. He made his senior international debut in October 2021 and is viewed as one of the most exciting prospects in Europe, having been nominated for the European Golden Boy award last year.

The player, whose full name is Yeremi Jesús Pino Santos, is a right-footed winger and would become the third left-winger on the books at the Emirates Stadium. The position is currently contested by Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith-Rowe, with Arteta seemingly having a preference for inverted wingers, with Bukayo Saka, Fabio Vieira and Nicolas Pepe all operating on the right-hand side.
The presence of Reiss Nelson will also become a source of speculation should Pino join the club, with the academy graduate seemingly falling further down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadiun as a result of this summer's transfer business.
Here is how Arsenal could line up if Yeremy Pino joins the club:
GK: Aaron Ramsdale
RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu
CB: William Saliba
CB: Gabriel Maghalles
LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko
CDM: Thomas Partey
CDM: Granit Xhaka
RM: Bukayo Saka
CAM: Martin Odegaard
LM: Yeremy Pino
ST: Gabriel Jesus
