Mikel Arteta takes great pride in the fact Arsenal have the most-youthful squad in the Premier League - and rightly so.

The Gunners have lined up with each of the 16 youngest starting XIs seen in the top flight this season, a truly remarkable record which is a credit to the coaches at the club's Hale End academy.

According to statistics experts Transfermarkt, Arsenal's starting XI for January's goalless draw against Burnley had an average age of just 23.8 years.
