Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says Reiss Nelson can '100%' earn himself a new contract at the Gunners. Nelson has not featured so far this season due to injury, but is set to start in Arsenal's Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.
If he does feature against the Norwegian side, then it will be Nelson's first outing in an Arsenal shirt since the defeat at Brentford on the opening day of last season.
After a frustrating start to the campaign, Nelson is set now set to get opportunities - particularly in the Europa League - to prove that he deserves to have his time at Arsenal extended. Nelson could be set for a number of chances over the coming weeks in the absence of Emile Smith Rowe.
