Mikel Arteta hinted that Arsenal 's focus will turn to offloading players rather than adding more quality in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are closing in on the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko, who was in the stands alongside technical director Edu as the club kept up their 100 per cent pre-season record. He will join the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira, who moved to the Emirates this earlier this summer.
It leaves Arteta with a host of individuals to pick from and the Spaniard is looking to trim his squad, as he acknowledges he cannot keep all of his players happy. The Gunners are competing on four fronts this term and will need depth, but the Arsenal boss still expects some departures.
