Mikel Arteta’s side is set to play Leicester in the second game of the season, which will be Arsenal’s first match at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have been heavily linked to Foxes’ midfielder Youri Tielemans, with a deal seeming to be close.
With Arsenal set to play Leicester so early on it should give Edu the incentive to complete a deal for the Belgian before the match takes place. Not only would it strengthen Arsenal’s midfield, but it will also weaken Leicester which would give the Gunners an early advantage ahead of the new season.
