Amid sealing deals for Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner, bolstering the Gunners' centre-forward options after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January coupled with Alexandre Lacazette's more recent exit has always been a priority for manager Mikel Arteta.

With the confirmation of Gabriel Jesus' £45m transfer from fellow Premier League outfit Manchester City, the Spaniard has got his man and he's been very complimentary about Arsenal's fourth summer signing when speaking to the club's official website.
