Mike Tyson is not happy with Hulu.
The miniseries “MIKE,” based on his life, is scheduled to premiere Aug. 25 on Hulu streaming platforms and Tyson claims he never gave permission for its creation. In a series of tweets, Tyson expressed his disdain and praised UFC president Dana White for declining to be part of it.
The series of tweets drew reactions from many, including UFC star Nate Diaz and WBC head Mauricio Sulaiman.
Praise of UFC president Dana White
Tyson indicated many of his friends and acquaintances were misled into participating. White, however, was not among them – despite what Tyson said Friday was a large sum of cash offered.
“Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life,” Tyson wrote on Twitter. “He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity. I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me.”

Mike Tyson goes off
The tweets pertaining to White were a small fraction of Tyson’s full airing of grievances. He compared his situation with Hulu to slavery and promised “#headswillroll.”
Hulu stole my story. They’re Goliath and I’m David. Heads will roll for this.

Nate Diaz chimes in
Diaz chimed in shortly thereafter, in usual, brief, Diaz fashion and backed the boxing legend in his battle against Hulu.
“I’m wit Mike,” Diaz wrote. “F*ck you hulu.”

WBC boss Mauricio Sulaiman says he was misled
Sulaiman, the president of the Mexico-based World Boxing Council, posted a picture of his father and previous WBC president Jose Sulaiman with Tyson. Sulaiman commented that he was misled by Hulu and allowed its production team to use belts for the series.
Someone should get fired from Hulu. Producers were lying to my friends saying I supported the unauthorized series about my life. https://t.co/KukFMNDkCb
