Manchester United have agreed a fee with Juventus for midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who had been linked with Liverpool earlier this summer.
The Manchester Evening News report that United willing to sanction a deal that could be worth up to £20m for the France international. However, personal terms are yet to be sorted with the player and his agent, who is also his mother.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with signing Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona throughout the summer. But given they are struggling to convince the Dutchman to leave Camp Nou for Old Trafford, they have started to look at midfield alternatives.

Rabiot is in the final year of his contract in Turin and there were reports suggesting that he wanted to join Liverpool. The Reds, it is understood, were never interested in signing the 27-year-old.
But Rabiot has made it clear in the past that he would like to play in the Premier League - with United's rivals being a favourite of his.
“I think I would like to experience something else [outside Ligue 1]. There are a lot of very good championships, it’s also very rewarding to go elsewhere," Rabiot said earlier in his career, when he was at Paris Saint-Germain.
“I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young.”
