Microsoft readies new Windows 11 feature drop for next month — here's what's coming, and when

Microsoft is gearing up to ship a new wave of features for Windows 11 in the coming weeks as the company continues its "continuous innovation" effort that aims to bring new experiences to Windows users on a regular basis.

The company is now testing what is expected to be next month's feature drop, which will likely begin rolling out broadly as part of Windows 11's next Patch Tuesday updates on July 8. The update includes improvements to the Taskbar, File Explorer, Share UI, and more.
