East Kilbride hope to land Kirk Broadfoot and Scott Allan as part of an ambitious transfer swoop under new boss Mick Kennedy, according to a report.
Former Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot joined Si Ferry at Open Goal Broomhill and after joining the ex-Darvel boss at K-Park as No2, his old player looks set to follow as they look to add vital experience to the backline. Kilby are also hoping they can strike a deal with ex-Celtic and Hibs star Scott Allan - currently under contract at Championship outfit Arbroath - in what would be a major coup as East Kilbride bid to add real quality to their ranks for the Lowland League title bid next season say Lanarkshire Live Sport.
Should the fifth tier outfit manage to land both players, they would bring a wealth of experience to the ranks. Broadfoot has previously turned out at the likes of Rangers, Kilmarnock, Inverness and St Mirren with Allan featuring at clubs such as West Brom, Hibs, Dundee United, Celtic and Portsmouth.

East Kilbride finished sixth after 36 games this season with Lowland League champions Spartans finishing 15 points ahead at the summit.
They will now face Highland League champions in the pyramid play-off semi-final over two-legs with the winner playing the club who finishes bottom of Scottish League Two for the chance to gain promotion to the football league system.
A short statement on the EK website read: "East Kilbride Football Club are delighted to announce that Mick Kennedy will be in position as First Team Manager for the 23/24 campaign, with Simon Ferry as his assistant.
"Martin Fellowes and Mark McKenna will remain in position as interim, for the defence of the Lowland League Cup."
