We had heard rumblings that a large group of Michigan State football players may enter the transfer portal this weekend to explore their options as the new MSU coaching staff starts to bring in their own transfers and recruits, changing the landscape in the program, and that is what we are starting to see.
One of the bigger names to enter the portal is Maliq Carr, the Spartans’ tight end who was a former transfer from Purdue.
Carr had 30 receptions for 353 yards and three touchdowns this past season.
