Payton Thorne addressed the media on Tuesday for his weekly media availability. Obviously, the season has not gone the way Thorne or the Spartans envisioned, but Thorne has been consistent and transparent in his media sessions.
In his latest media session, Thorne revealed that he has not been 100% since the Spartans week one contest against Western Michigan. Not using it as an excuse, Thorne made sure to reiterate that he needs to elevate his level of play.
MSU QB Payton Thorne said he has not been 100% physically since the WMU game, and it has affected his mobility and part in the run game. Won’t use it as an excuse and says it comes down to him and elevating his level of play.
