Michigan State football quarterback Aidan Chiles’ stat line in the Maryland win last week just got a tad bit better.
Originally, Chiles was credited for three interceptions against the Terrapins, with the last pick coming when the ball slipped out of his hands during a pass attempt and right into the hands of a Maryland defender.
Thanks to a stat correction, Chiles will now only have two interceptions in that game, officially, with that third interception now considered a fumble.
Chiles now leaves the Maryland game with an official stat line of 24-for-38 for 363 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions, and a fumble.
