Fans took to social media to voice there displeasure with Michigan State following the team’s 34-7 loss to Minnesota. A lot of that disstain was put towards Michigan State’s coaching staff, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Spartans not only seem to have not progressed at all, but it appears that the team has regressed from last year to this year on the defensive side of the ball, much to the disgust of the fans.
In his post game press conference, Mel Tucker was asked about his staff and he doubled down on his confidence in his staff.
Tucker: "I'm very confident in the coaching staff. … we're going through a tough stretch right now."
