Sunday was a very busy day for Michigan State football, with multiple commitments coming in throughout the day along with a big return addition in Maverick Hansen. Not to be lost in the shuffle, the Spartans made another under-the-radar move that could pan out to be big in the long-run, as they landed the commitment of 2024 preferred walk-on DJ Kennard.
Kennard, a cornerback from Palmetto Prep in Columbia, South Carolina, committed to the Spartans on Sunday.
I am blessed to announce my commitment to Michigan State University! I want to thank my family, coaches, and mentors for getting me to where I need to be. I am ready to continue working hard to represent Michigan State with dedication and perseverance. Go Green! @MSU_Football… pic.twitter.com/QMQi3itfr1
