On Tuesday, the Michigan State basketball program announced that Jaden Akins will miss an anticipated four weeks after having surgery on Saturday for a stress fracture in his left foot.
This is a huge blow to the Spartans, but if that timeline is accurate, he should still be able to make it back in time for the season opener on Nov. 7.
