In some surprising news, Michigan State basketball fell out of the AP Poll on Monday following their close loss to No. 2 Arizona. This was a different result than the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, which still has MSU hanging in the Top-25.
Why is it surprising? Well, MSU may be 3-3 right now, but their three losses, all close, came to Top-25 teams, including two Top-10 teams. I would think most people would still view MSU as a Top-25 team right now, but they only received 57 votes, not enough to crack the Poll.
