Michigan State basketball played its third and final game of the trip overseas to Spain, and it played the toughest test of the trip. The Spartans matched up with KK FMP, a Serbian professional team that is in the top league in Serbia. The team qualified for this season’s European Champions League, which is considered the strongest basketball tournament in Europe.
The Spartans fought valiantly, overcoming a double-digit deficit to make it a close game, but ultimately fell to the pros from Serbia, 115-110.
