WEST CALDWELL, N.J. — Michelle Wie West spells her curse words now. Such is the life of being a mom. So when she was asked about how it felt teeing it up in a professional event for the first time in nearly three years, she went into full mom mode.
“I wasn’t nervous going in, and I get to the first tee and I’m like holy s---,” Wie West said, spelling it out. “I was like, ‘wow. The hole all of a sudden looks so small.’ Got to a two-footer and I’m like, ‘I’m not going to hit the hole. No way.’”
