Nottingham Michelin Star chef Alex Bond has launched a new website and provided an update on his latest restaurant, Mollis, which is set to open in the new year in the city centre. Mollis, in Derby Road, is set to combine Alex's love of hip-hop, fried chicken and ice cream.
The restaurant is located next door to his first food venture, Alchemilla, which will be a completely new dining experience from his new offering. In an announcement on Facebook, Alex wrote that the Mollis diary will be open for bookings from Friday, December 9, with the official opening on Saturday, December 17.
Alex also teased a photo of the inside of the building on Facebook which shows a heavily graffitied room fitting with the hip-hop theme. On the website, the food is described as 'the best-fried chicken you'll ever have'. There's also mention of 'carefully curated' cocktails from 'world-class bartender' Darren Warren.
