Former professional footballer Michael Owen has given his verdict on his daughter's Love Island partner. Michael Owen's daughter Gemma has been making headlines as she appears on the ITV2 hit dating show as the youngest ever contestant.
The 19 year old is currently coupled up with fishmonger Luca Bish, 23, and her dad has had his say on the matter. It comes after the pair were sent to the hideaway together to clear up their relationship.
Birmingham Live reports that Luca told Gemma that he is 'obsessed' with her. Gemma also opened up about potentially falling for him after Luca asked her about her feelings.

But what does dad Michael make of the pair's steamy antics - which include Luca sucking on Gemma's toes. A source told the Daily Mail Michael thinks Luca seems like a “decent fella” - but will wait to give his final verdict once he’s met him.
They told the publication: "He’s seen a few of the episodes and from what he’s witnessed he thinks Luca and the other guys on the Island seem like pretty decent fellas. But if Luca ends up officially going out with Gemma he will definitely want to meet him and make up his own mind on the guy. Any father would."
