Michael Mosley warns of common fruits you should cut out for weight loss - even bananas

Fruit and vegetables provide our bodies with lots of essential nutrients and should be a key part of all our diets.

In fact, the NHS recommends that the average adult consumes at least five portions of different fruit and vegetables a day.

The health organisation advises: "There's evidence that people who eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke and some cancers."
