Michael Carrick says Lisandro Martinez situation has galvanised Man Utd squad

Michael Carrick Lisandro Martinez Manchester United

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has accepted Lisandro Martinez 's apology following the defender's public criticism of technical director Jason Wilcox.
Martinez acknowledged his mistake in a statement after holding talks with Carrick and the club hierarchy following Tuesday's defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Carrick confirmed the defender remains available for selection for Sunday's trip to Leeds United, insisting squad harmony has not been disrupted.
The United manager believes the situation has galvanised the group as they seek to improve on a poor start to the season of two wins in nine games.
United are also awaiting fitness updates on left-back Luke Shaw and midfielder Kobbie Mainoo ahead of Sunday's fixture.
