Michael Beale has revealed a sickness bug has meant "three or four" Rangers players have been left in Scotland as the club take on Hoffenheim.
The Ibrox boss confirmed the squad had been reduced in numbers due to an illness with a handful of players not making the trip to Germany.
It's thought John Souttar misses the match through illness, but it's not clear which other players missed the trip.
Beale told club media: "The last man standing in centre-back really with Balogun and young Johnly who has had a really good pre-season - this will be a good test for him today.

"Unfortunately, we had a little bit of a sickness bug which has robbed us of three or four players and we had to make the choice whether they travelled with the group or stayed back.
"So, three or four have stayed back."
However, Beale is positive ahead of the match as he confirmed new summer signing Danilo would feature in the match with a new 4-4-2 system to be trialled in the friendly match.
He explained: "Ridvan and Borna have been rotating the games and the competition there is fierce. It's a good opportunity for Ridvan.
"Obviously, Tav, Jack back in goal, midfield we are going to play slightly different with a line of four today; Abdallah will move to the right and Todd to the left.
"John and Nico [central] and it leaves Cyriel and Sam up front. And we've got an exciting bench, you will see Danilo for the first time today, Kemar Roofe again, they will play as a partnership at some point. And Ryan Jack is back in the squad as well."
