Lionsgate already have "25 to 30 percent" of Michael 2 in the bank from previous shoots.

The Michael Jackson biopic, which ended with the words "His Story Continues", has been a huge box office hit and the studio is pushing ahead with a follow-up, with the first movie wrapping up amid the King of Pop's Bad tour in 1987.
