Micah Richards has brutally taken down Thierry Henry for the Arsenal legend's fashion choice during their appearance as pundits on CBS Sport.
The duo are part of the American TV channel's punditry team for the Champions League, alongside Jamie Carragher. They appeared on Tuesday night for the second leg of Liverpool's semi-final clash with Villarreal.
The trio have been the regular panelists for CBS' coverage of the Champions League over the course of this season and have developed a reputation for their light-hearted approach. Usually, that lighter approach does not extend to their clothes, with the pundits tending to wear full suits with ties.
That changed on Tuesday, though, with Henry arriving at the studio in a brown chequered shirt, but with no tie. Richards meanwhile wore a blue three-piece suit with a tie, while Carragher wore a black suit, with Henry looking like the odd man out.
Richards took little time to poke fun at the Arsenal legend's fashion choices. As Henry was introduced by Kate Abdo, he was asked: "Casual Friday on a Tuesday is it Thierry?" by the presenter.
Henry claimed that his choice of going without a tie was down to simple forgetfulness, saying: "Casual Friday because I don't know where my tie is. I have to be honest." That was not something Richards was willing to accept though.

The former Manchester City star brought up Henry's induction into the Premier League's Hall of Fame to take down his fellow pundit. Richards interrupted Henry to joke: "Honestly, Hall of Fame is getting to your head."
Henry did fire back at Richards, poking fun at the fact his former side face Real Madrid in the second-leg of their semi-final clash tomorrow. The Frenchman said: "No, big game is tomorrow. Let's see how relaxed you're going to be about it tomorrow."
Henry was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Alan Shearer in April 2021, with the duo becoming the first two to become members. At the time, the Gunners legend admitted to feeling a sense of pride at being handed the honour.
"To be inducted alongside Alan Shearer as the two first inductees into the Premier League Hall of Fame is more than special. When I was young, I was just trying to make sure I could get a pair of boots and now we're talking about the Hall of Fame. During my career I wanted to play hard and make sure I was fighting for the cause, because that's all the fans want to see," he said.
Liverpool booked their place in their third Champions League final since Jurgen Klopp took charge in a thrilling game at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Villarreal had left them shell-shocked with first-half goals from Boulaye Dia and Francois Coquelin.
But Klopp brought on Luis Diaz at half-time, a change that totally turned the game on its head. Fabinho put Liverpool back in front on aggregate just after the hour mark, before Diaz all but secured his side's place in Paris and Sadio Mane wrapped up the win.
