Mia’s winter tasting menu celebrates the vibrant colours of nature

Inspired by memories of winters in Europe and Asia, chefs Pongcharn 'Top' Russell and Michelle Goh of Mia on 30 Attha Kawi 1, Sukhumvit 26, present a seasonal tasting menu that focuses on flavours and distinctly highlights them with slow-cooking, curing and fermentation techniques that develop a unique profoundness for each course.

Highlights include Mia's delish 'Josephine oyster' deep fried in cornmeal breadcrumbs. The 'Duxelle tart' is back and uses seven types of local mushrooms. Taste salty seafood notes in the 'Squid ink tuile'. For mains, celebrate the season with juicy 'Roasted pork belly' served four ways and grilled aubergine glazed with miso. There is also the 'WX Rangers Valley tenderloin', a pure-blood Wagyu from Australia served with horseradish puree and sweet potato pomme anna.

Wrap up the night with chef Goh's desserts: the all-time favourite 'Mia’s cereal bowl with malted milk chocolate and corn' or a classic 'Mont Noir with chestnuts and black sesame' — a traditional European dessert with Asian flavours.

The eight-course tasting menu is priced at B4,850++ and the five-course is priced at B3,850++. The plant-based and vegetarian culinary journey is priced at B3,850 ++. Call 098-862-9659, email reservation@miarestaurantbkk.com or visit miarestaurantbkk.com.
