Mexico has deployed 500 Army and National Guard personnel to its border with Texas as part of a coordinated security operation with the United States, while President Claudia Sheinbaum is demanding evidence after U.S. officials reported that Coast Guard personnel came under fire from the Mexican side of the border.
"We asked for all the evidence because we have no evidence," Sheinbaum said Monday during her daily press conference.
