  • Metropolitan Police officer PC Idominik Efeotor has been sacked without notice following an accelerated misconduct hearing.
  • He was found to have persistently breached social media regulations between 2024 and 2026 while identifying himself as a serving officer.
  • The posted content contained derogatory language about colleagues, accusations of force corruption and racism, and information risking the identity of an anonymous officer.
  • Mr Efeotor continued to publish podcast episodes and social media posts despite having his business interest permission revoked and receiving repeated warnings.
  • The misconduct panel concluded his actions severely damaged public confidence, resulting in his immediate dismissal and a permanent ban from policing.
