Temperatures will remain high in Leeds on Friday as the Met Office's amber weather warning is in place.
Heat levels are expected to rise as high as 31C across the city. starting around 18C in the morning before they peak in the afternoon between 3pm and 7pm.
The forecast for Leeds is completely dry and sunny all day, with temperatures dropping to a modest 27C into the evening.

The Met Office Forecast for Yorkshire says: "Any early low cloud soon clearing, but perhaps lingering near coasts. Otherwise, dry with largely unbroken sunshine. Hot for most, but cooler where cloud and mist persists near coasts. Maximum temperature 32 °C."
Leeds will continue to see high pressure bringing dry and settled weather into the weekend. The weather warning is in place until Sunday with temperatures expected to cool down and rain predicted from Monday next week.
From Friday until Sunday the forecast says: "High pressure continues to bring dry settled weather through the weekend, with very warm temperatures. Overnight may see coastal low cloud spreading inland, burning back quickly by day."
