And of tomorrow: “Any early brightness will be short-lived as thickening cloud and outbreaks of rain move north during the morning. Staying generally wet during the afternoon. Becoming rather windy. Maximum temperature 11 °C.”
The rest of the week will see periods of heavy rain, with temperatures remaining relatively mild. The rain will occasionally be interspersed with lighter showers and wind.
For Salford, intermittent rain is forecasted, which appears to be brightening up for the end of the week. And in South Manchester, heavy rain and showers are forecast, with some sunny intervals on Thursday.
In the Tameside area the rain appears to lighten around Thursday, with temperatures appearing to cool off to around 5°C on Saturday.
Make sure you wrap up and have those umbrella’s ready.
