Residents around the UK have been told by the Met Office that temperatures could reach the "mid to high 30Cs" next month but it would take an “extreme event” for them to hit 40C.
Sun lovers have been soaking up the warm weather in June which is on track to be the hottest on record and there is more to come in July.
The Met Office has said that after a few weeks of unsettled weather, it could heat up again in the second half of July and August.
