Greater Manchester has been enjoying much milder temperatures this week, as well as some welcome bursts of sunshine.
After a wet and windy end to February, spring has finally arrived bringing much clearer skies with it.
According to the Met Office, we can expect to see some more of the sun this weekend. The warmer temperatures suggest it could be a great weekend to get out of the house and head outside - but you might want to bring an umbrella.

Sunday is much the same with both showers and sunny spells expected. The morning could see some stronger winds with gusts of up to 34mph predicted in Manchester.

Rain is likely in the northwest on Tuesday night and Wednesday, forecasters said, but many places will see longer periods of dry and bright weather too.
Temperatures will remain close to normal for mid-March, and the chance of some overnight frost remains. On the chances of snow in March, the Met office said it "looks unlikely".
