Good morning, folks! A Status Yellow weather warning is in place this morning for Ireland.
Met Eireann issued the fog and ice warning last night which will be in place until 11 am this morning. The alert reads: "Icy stretches along with patches of freezing fog may lead to hazardous road conditions in some areas tonight and on Monday morning."
It will be a cold and frosty morning in Dublin but it will be mostly dry. Any remaining fog will break up later in the morning to give way to good sunny spells. It will be a cold day with temperatures staying around 4 to 6 degrees.

Tonight will be cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain extending from the southwest with some drier interludes at times. The mercury will hit the lows of 1 to 4 degrees, though temperatures will become much milder as the night goes on, in fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds veering southwesterly.
Tomorrow will be mild, wet, and windy with spells of rain, turning heavy at times. The highest temperatures will range from 11 to 13 degrees, in fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds.

Tuesday night
"Windy with showery outbreaks of rain, mixed with clear spells. Becoming drier in the west by morning as winds begin to moderate there. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty westerly wind, moderating later.
Wednesday
"Sunny spells and scattered outbreaks of rain on Wednesday, remaining breezy and mild too with moderate to occasionally fresh westerly winds and highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.
Wednesday night
"Mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain initially, more persistent rain will move in over southern parts towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees, in a light southwesterly or variable winds.
Thursday
"A wet day for most as rain becomes widespread and occasionally heavy. Highest temperatures ranging from 7 to 11 degrees with light southerly winds freshening from the southwest during the afternoon.
